Will You Get "Minxed" for Christmas???

Ok, get your mind out of the gutter......I'm talking about the coolest new thing in fingernails....MINXING!!! I saw a picture of these nails about a month ago and just had to have the polish, but it's not polish, it's minxing. So what is minxing you ask??? I will tell you. Minxing is a paper wrap for your fingernails. It's not fake nails or polish but an actual light weight piece of paper the nail stylist shapes to your fingernails. It lasts about a week and if you want it off sooner you simply soak your nails in luke warm water and soap. The sites say it's great for your nails and completely eco-friendly!! The "minxing" costs anywhere from $40-$60. I'm sure that seems a bit steep for a week but come on, it's the holidays!!!

I literally spent all day yesterday searching for something, ANYTHING close to what this looks like and came out a bit short. I went from store to store looking and had a few options but finally decided on Nicole by O.P.I's version "Positive Energy" set me back a whole $8.


I've been searching for Sally Hansen Chrome but could not find it anywhere. When I got home and settled in for the night I decided to do some research. Turns out the Chrome nail polish is flying off the shelves since it's the closest thing people can find to actual minxing.
